Refrigerated Transport - Local & Interstate

The G R George Transport Group commenced in 1990 transporting meat between Brisbane and Sydney. The business has grown from a small transport business, into a significant service provider in the refrigerated transport industry, servicing the distribution routes throughout the east coast of Australia as well as Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

The company has seen the acquisition of Whites Westrans located in Orange NSW with its focus mainly on general freight into the central NSW region. This acquisition was formalised in August 2003 with its operations working from a purpose built depot in Orange.

G R George operates from its main depot located at Rocklea  in the South West Region of Brisbane. This location is strategically placed to access the principal distribution networks that service the East Coast of Australia as well as another Office for their container division at Colmslie to service the Port of Brisbane.
